INTERCONNECTED OCEAN OF ART

Sarah Masaki partners with world’s largest digital art gallery W1 Curates to reveal exclusive privately owned NFT collections at Miami Art Week

In one-off experience Interconnected Ocean of Art, curator and art advisor Sarah Masaki collaborates with W1 Curates to present a sensational evening of NFT artworks previously unseen by the public. With the participation of high-profile collectors Cozomo de' Medici and 33NFT - owner of the $69M Beeple NFT purchased at Christie's last year - the world’s most exclusive collection of NFTs worth $400M will be unveiled on December 1st at this unique occasion hosted by Bagatelle Miami at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, South Beach.

Having illuminated prestigious institutions, auction houses and private collections with her exhibitions and artwork placements, Masaki applies her 15 years of art market expertise to this visionary celebration of digital art. She teams up with the iconic creative incubator and digital art platform W1 Curates, best known for its superscreen on London’s Oxford Street that replaces large-scale ads with public art. W1 Curates works with top tier artists, galleries and platforms including Gagosian, Sotheby’s and Artsy, and produces cutting edge events across art, fashion and music. The charismatic partnership between Masaki and W1 Curates promises a dynamic fusion of innovation and revelation at the most future-facing gathering in the art world calendar, Miami Art Week.

For one night only at cult destination known for fine dining accompanied by fine art, Bagatelle, W1 Curates shares insight into digital exhibiting and collecting through this progressive NFT experience. Guests will be granted accessibility to purchase works by some of the hottest digital artists on the market, with Smart Tech Media creating a digital wallet for the event that provides virtual reality interactions in the metaverse. W1 Curates are highly regarded for leading the art world through its digital evolution: for Frieze this year the trailblazing gallery partnered with Pace Gallery and Studio Drift, expanding and supporting them in their shift to NFT presentation and pushing the art market’s rapidly growing exploration of digital value’s phenomenal possibilities forward.

According to the UBS Global Art Market report, by last year 74% of high net worth collectors had purchased art-based NFTs, contributing significantly to the 29% increase of the global art market over the past two years to its current value of $65.1B. Interconnected Ocean of Art will bring together headline works from key names in this meteoric new art market sector, showing two of the most important digital art collections in existence, from 33NFT, an anonymous NFT collector of over 1,000 rare pieces guided by the principles of Trust, Friendship and Commitment, and Cozomo de' Medici, the pseudonymous digital art collector, investor, and thought leader now one of the most prominent names in the NFT community. The latest NFT by sculpture superstar Michael Benisty (collected by Larry Page and Elon Musk) will drop his latest NFT “The Odyssey Collection” at the event. Pieces by admired phygital artist Maxim Zhestkov will accompany those by neon visionary Lauren Baker, street art social commentator Whisbe, and many more. While NFT components are only showing for one night, exhibited paintings, sculptures and installations will remain on view for four weeks.

To enhance this exceptional night of unmatched NFT exposure, Masaki and W1 have programmed a sequence of live artist performances, and the evening will culminate in a DJ set by the music genius behind hits such as Benediction, Ali Love.
